Introducing Our New Team Members

Keith W. Kidd is a Staff Attorney in the Morehead office.  Immediately preceding his arrival at LABG, he completed an active duty assignment as a Judge Advocate at Ft. Knox, KY and he remains active in the Army Reserve.  He has also served as a prosecutor in Texas.  

Keith has a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University, a Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama and a Law Degree from Texas Wesleyan University. He currently lives in Morgan County. 

 



Stephanie Schulte is a Staff Attorney in the Lexington office of LABG. Prior to joining LABG, Stephanie was an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Veterans Legal Fellow at the Legal Aid Society in Louisville, Kentucky. At LABG, Stephanie is working on a variety of cases including housing law, family law, and domestic violence. She is proud to join LABG and the pursuit of civil legal justice for low-income members of the community.

Stephanie is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky and attended law school at the University of Georgia School of Law. She is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, and the Rotaract Club of Lexington. Stephanie also coaches middle school girl’s lacrosse in the Spring.

 



Amanda Taylor is a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid of the Bluegrass (LABG)  in the Morehead office.  Prior to joining LABG, Amanda was a legal assistant for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Kentucky in Ft. Mitchell for about 8 years.  She also previously worked as a legal assistant for private attorneys and for the Assignment Commissioner’s Office in Hamilton County’s Municipal Court.   

Amanda graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Addictions Studies.  In college, she was president of the National Honors Society of Criminal Justice and interned at a correctional facility where she conducted classes on anger management and aftercare. In 2013, she received her law degree from the part-time night program at Salmon P. Chase College of Law.  Amanda enjoys photography, reading fiction novels and spending time with her husband and pup.

 



Lubrina Burton is a part-time Legal Assistant with Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and assists the Lexington office with the Pro Bono Program. Lubrina received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Science from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. She performed her paralegal internship with Legal Aid of the Bluegrass in 2013. Lubrina is a veteran of the U.S. Army and currently resides in Lexington, KY.

We ensure access to justice for all people, including veterans, the elderly, those who are disabled and victims of domestic violence.
