Kentucky's Legal Aid Programs Stand Together
KENTUCKY– Kentucky’s legal aid programs grieve with their fellow Kentuckians and all affected by Friday night’s tornadoes. The loss of life, the terrifying fear suffered, and the damage to property are incomprehensible. We know that our client communities are suffering and many of our own legal aiders, especially those in Western Kentucky, are only beginning the long road to recovery after such devastating losses. The legal aid programs are here to serve and support our communities and each other during this time and in days to come. While immediate needs are the focus of today, we stand together ready to lock arms and partner with our communities to rise and rebuild.

Kentucky’s legal aid programs provide free civil legal services to Kentucky’s 120 counties. Each program serves a section of the Commonwealth, providing free civil legal services to eligible clients that relate to clients’ safety, stability, and health. Clients are screened for income and legal matter eligibility.
