This information is used to identify the right volunteer opportunity for you and your contact information will be used to reach you. This information is stored in a third-party case management software that is managed by Legal Aid of the Bluegrass.

E-newsletter: If you opt in to receive our newsletter, we will ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name and email address. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by using the link in the footer of all such emails.

Online intake: We allow people to apply for services through the website.  The information we collect is used to determine if you qualify for free help from Legal Aid of the Bluegrass. The online application will require you to provide personally identifiable information, such as your income, citizenship status, social security number, address and information about your legal issue. All information collected is sent directly to Legal Aid of the Bluegrass case management system through an application programming interface (API). Your information will be stored on the website for no more than one week, after which it will be deleted and exist only in the proprietary systems of Legal Aid of the Bluegrass.

Legal aid protects the rights of people living at or near poverty with legal problems such as:  housing, consumer, family and public benefits. We ensure access to justice for all people, including veterans, the elderly, those who are disabled and victims of domestic violence.
