Legal Aid of the Bluegrass (LABG) wants to hear from you about legal issues you have experienced or affect those you work with. Please complete this survey so LABG can continue providing legal assistance to those with brutal needs in Kentucky. Attorneys should complete this survey.
Legal Aid of the Bluegrass provides high quality civil legal services to low-income persons in 33 Kentucky counties. Civil legal cases are non-criminal complaints often involving people’s interactions such as divorces, evictions, foreclosures, bankruptcy, access to benefits like healthcare, SNAP or SSI, and domestic violence orders. People seeking legal assistance are often at risk of losing something be it their home, safety, income, health or independence. Legal Aid of the Bluegrass has served our communities for 49 years with offices in Ashland, Covington, Lexington and Morehead.
Every five years Legal Aid of the Bluegrass (LABG) surveys the community to find out what civil legal problems low-income and elderly people are experiencing. This survey identifies important legal needs in the community and allows LABG to recognize new legal problems affecting the client population.
In order to stay in touch with the changing legal needs of its clients, LABG prepares a report identifying what important legal issues should take priority and the best way to deliver services to meet those needs.
LABG works in 33 Kentucky counties to resolve the most important problems of low income and other vulnerable people by providing high quality legal assistance through direct representation, education, advice, advocacy and coordination with other community resources.
